TERMONIUM PLUS Façade - Graphite EPS Insulation Boards (Per m2)

These are silvery-grey boards, produced on the basis of an innovative raw material refined with graphite, which is added to the granules during polystyrene production to improve insulation performance so better thermal effects can be achieved or the same effect with lower board thicknesses. The boards are available with flat or milled edges that allow them to be arranged “on an overlap”. Standard dimensions: length 1000 mm, width 500 mm, thickness 20 mm. Sold per m².

• Thermal insulation in the gap of a closed three-layer wall

• Thermal insulation as a continuous outer layer on the plinth wall

Mounting Recommendations

• Polystyrene boards should be used in accordance with Technical and Quality Recommendation RTQ ITB 1260/2020 and with the guidelines included in the construction project
• If mechanical fasteners are used, they must be correctly selected for the substrate type and in line with the insulation design
• After attaching the boards in ETICS systems, the next stages of insulation work should follow with an appropriate technological break to ensure sufficient adhesive strength
• Beginning the reinforced layer too early may weaken the bond and reduce adhesion to the substrate or to the EPS
• Continuity of insulation and elimination of gaps at board joints must be ensured
  Boards must be protected from excessive heating during installation, as dark colours absorb sunlight
