GOLD Façade - White EPS Insulation Boards (Per m2)

These are white or dotted polystyrene boards produced by the polystyrene foaming method and designed for thermal insulation of walls, especially façade insulation. They can be made with flat or milled edges that allow them to be arranged on an overlap. Standard dimensions: length 1000 mm, width 500 mm, thickness 20mm. Sold by the m².

• Thermal insulation on the surface of the frame wall
• Thermal insulation in the gap of a closed three-layer wall

Mounting Recommendations

• Polystyrene boards should be used in accordance with Technical and Quality Recommendation RTQ ITB 1260/2020 and the construction project guidelines
• If mechanical fasteners are used they must be correctly selected for the substrate type and in line with the insulation design
• After fixing the boards in ETICS systems the next stages of work should follow with an appropriate technological break to ensure sufficient adhesive strength
• Beginning the reinforced layer too early may weaken the bond and reduce adhesion to the substrate or to the EPS
• Continuity of insulation and elimination of gaps at board joints must be ensured
  Boards should be protected against excessive heating during installation
