DALMATIAN PLUS Façade - White EPS Insulation Boards (Per m2)

These are white or dotted expanded-polystyrene insulation boards manufactured using the polystyrene-foaming method and designed for thermal insulation of external walls, particularly façade insulation. They are available with either flat edges or milled edges that allow the boards to be installed “on an overlap”. Standard board dimensions are 1000 mm in length, 500 mm in width, 20 mm in thickness. Sold per m².

• External thermal insulation made using the ETICS method (light-wet, BSO)
• External thermal insulation made using the light-dry method
• Thermal insulation on the surface of the frame wall
• Thermal insulation in the gap of a closed three-layer wall
• Thermal insulation in the gap of a ventilated three-layer wall
• Insulation of cornices, lintels and other thermal bridges
• Insulation of balcony loggias
• Thermal insulation of window jambs
• Thermal insulation of all layered walls
• Thermal insulation forming a continuous outer layer on the plinth wall
• Filling expansion joints

Mounting Recommendations

• Polystyrene boards should be used in accordance with Technical and Quality Recommendation RTQ ITB 1260/2020 and the guidelines in the construction project
• If mechanical fasteners are used they must be correctly selected for the substrate type and in line with the technical insulation design
• In ETICS systems the next stages of insulation work should begin only after an appropriate technological break to ensure sufficient adhesion and strength of the adhesive
• Starting the reinforced layer too early can weaken the bond to the substrate or the polystyrene
• Continuity of thermal insulation and elimination of gaps at board joints should be ensured
• DALMATIAN PLUS Façade boards must be protected during installation from excessive heating because dark colours absorb sunlight
