DALMATIAN Façade - White EPS Insulation Boards (Pack)

These are white or dotted expanded-polystyrene insulation boards produced using the polystyrene-foaming method. They are designed for thermal insulation of walls, especially façade insulation. Boards are available with flat or milled edges to allow installation “on an overlap”. Standard dimensions are 1000 mm in length, 500 mm in width. Sold by the pack.

• External thermal insulation made using the ETICS method (light-wet, BSO)
• External thermal insulation made using the light-dry method
• Thermal insulation on the surface of the frame wall
• Thermal insulation in the gap of a closed three-layer wall
• Thermal insulation in the gap of a ventilated three-layer wall
• Insulation of cornices, lintels and other thermal bridges
• Insulation of balcony loggias
• Thermal insulation of window jambs
• Thermal insulation of all layered walls
• Thermal insulation forming a continuous outer layer on the plinth wall
• Filling expansion joints

Mounting Recommendations

• Polystyrene boards should be used in line with Technical and Quality Recommendation RTQ ITB 1260/2020 and the construction project
• Mechanical fasteners must be correctly selected for the substrate type and the technical insulation design
• After fixing the boards in ETICS systems, subsequent stages must only begin after an appropriate technological break to ensure sufficient adhesive strength
• Starting the reinforced layer too early can weaken adhesion to the substrate or the polystyrene
• Continuity of thermal insulation and elimination of gaps between boards must be ensured
• DALMATIAN Façade boards must be protected during installation from excessive heating because dark colours absorb sunlight

Each pack covers the following approximate area:

• 50 mm boards cover approx. 6.0 m² per pack
• 80 mm boards cover approx. 3.5 m² per pack
• 100 mm boards cover approx. 3.0 m² per pack
